Our Story

A community built around one simple idea:
every child belongs.

Kaleidoscope Childcare Center has been caring for Mount Kisco's youngest learners for years — and every program, every routine, and every warm hello at the door is designed with that community in mind.

Our Philosophy

Learning happens best when children feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

Our teachers plan around the child, not the other way around. We follow each child's curiosity — whether that means digging deeper into a book for the third time or building a cardboard city that lasts all week. We also know that young children thrive on rhythm, so every day balances active play, calm sensory work, meals, rest, and enrichment.

We communicate openly with families. That means daily updates, quick check-ins at pickup, and always a real person on the other end of the phone.

Our Values

Four things we care about, every single day.

💛

Warmth

Every child gets a gentle greeting, a hand to hold, and a teacher who knows their favorite song.

🔍

Curiosity

We follow the questions children ask — because that's where real learning sparks to life.

Safety

Fully licensed, trained, and prepared — from CPR certification to daily classroom routines.

Our Environment

Thoughtfully designed rooms, playgrounds, and everyday rhythms.
